This month we celebrate the importance of friendship and recognise the power it has to transform our lives. You can celebrate International Friendship day on 30 July 2017.

A friend to the earth
As world leaders meet together in the G20 gathering in Germany this month, one of the many things they will be focusing on will be climate change. Please pray for our leaders to continue to commit to implementing measures that will tackle climate change and its damaging effects. Also, pray for countries currently facing drought including South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia and Uganda. You can find out more about the actions we’re taking to help affected communities.
Serving Together
Loraine Mellor and Jill Baker have been inducted as President and Vice President of the Methodist Conference 2017-18. All We Can will be taking them to visit some of the communities we serve in Uganda and Ethiopia in the coming weeks. Please pray for Loraine and Jill as they embark on a year serving the church together, may they draw inspiration and strength from God and each other and be enriched and enlightened by their visits to All We Can’s work.

All We Can helps connect loving compassionate people in the UK to people across the world living in some of the world’s poorest communities. Through the hand of friendship, All We Can is working with local people and organisations to change lives and communities. Pray for compassion to keep flowing and growing, for friendships to continue flourishing and for more lives to be transformed through acts of kindness and love.
