Welcome to your summer edition of Walking Together! In this issue of Walking Together, we are bringing you the story of our partner, COFCAWE (Concern for Children and Women Empowerment), and the incredible work they do to empower women and children in Jinja, Uganda. Entrepreneurship is at the heart of their mission and you will hear the words of one woman, Kevin, who really demonstrates the positive cycle of what happens when women become financially independent – the benefits extend to the whole community, going on to lift up many more women, men and children. Additionally, you will find an update from Maritha in Zimbabwe, whose story you may remember from our previous visit in 2020, and whose life has transformed thanks to our partner, Zubo Trust, and thanks to your generosity.
