I am a UK taxpayer and would like All We Can to treat all donations I have made for the four years prior to this year and all the donations from the date of this declaration as Gift Aid donations unless I notify you otherwise. I understand that if I pay less income tax and/or capital gains tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like All We Can to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that All We Can will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

You are giving a single donation of: £25.00

A powerful earthquake that struck Haiti’s Southern Peninsula on Saturday 14 August has claimed more than two thousand lives, with the death toll still climbing. Many more have been injured.

All We Can and the Methodist Church in Britain have launched a Joint Appeal, after together assessing the likely response needs.

Graeme Hodge, All We Can CEO said, ‘Our joint response with the Methodist Church in Britain, to deliver life-saving inputs through local partners who are there already, means aid can be deployed quickly. The first five days after a quake are when lives are saved, or lost. We’re speaking with local actors now, and invite anybody wishing to support the response to give now.’

Across the region, large-scale damage has been caused to a majority of churches and hotels. The Methodist church in the Jeremie area is among buildings affected.

As the Methodist Church in Britain and All We Can together launch a joint response, please give, and join us in praying for the initial assessment and early response.
