Three top tips for fundraising success

Getting sponsored: Setting up your online fundraising page and collecting sponsorship is crucial to making your event a success. We recommend  using either Just Giving or MyDonate, as these are both very straightforward fundraising platforms – they are quick an easy, and mean anyone can sponsor you via credit or debit card. Please encourage your supporters to use Gift Aid if they are a UK taxpayer – this makes their gift worth 25% more, at no extra cost.

Involve your friends: It’s always easier to fundraise with friends, so even if you’re planning a solo fundraising activity such as a run or a swim, why not see if any of your friends or family, or other members of your church would like to join in? You might be surprised how many people will be up for the challenge, and together you’ll be able to raise even more money for people living in the world’s poorest communities.

Tell your story: Your friends and family will love to hear about what has inspired you to fundraise for All We Can, so make sure that you share your story not only on your fundraising page, but also across any social media platforms you have. If you send an email to us on with a few lines about what you’re doing, we would love to share your story too.
