We are always amazed by the incredible lengths churches go to in order to raise funds for those living in some of the world’s poorest communities. There are plenty of ways to get your church involved – from organising fundraising events, to becoming a Partner Church, the opportunities are endless.
Holding an event
You can host an event such as a lunch, a quiz night or a tea, coffee and cake afternoon, which brings friends and food together to raise funds. If you need some inspiration, take a look at our resource packs, which contain plenty of ideas for activities, posters, fliers and films to help you put on the best event possible. It’s always great to see how different churches fundraise – take a look at an arts and crafts exhibition put on by Skelton Methodist Church here. If you want to hold an event, register it here and we will send you everything you need to make it successful.
Support All We Can in your services
You can use All We Can service materials to inspire your congregation to give, such as at Harvest and during Advent. You can also use bible studies and reflections to raise people’s awareness and interest in giving to help some of the world’s poorest communities. If you would like to order gift aid envelopes for a collection at your church, you can order them online or give us a call on 0207 467 5132.
We have developed a handy Fundraising Guide , which contains lots of ideas for churches as well as for any keen individuals in your congregation who want to take on a challenge.
We also offer a range of resources which are freely available to order.
