Radically Changing The Story – Climate Justice

Tesfaye wants to help others the way he has been helped.

“We didn’t produce enough food for the whole year because of the weather conditions. The government supported us to fill that gap with aid.”

Tesfaye lives with three of his five children. The climate crisis has meant he faced not having enough food to feed his family. The potato project in Cherkos, Ethiopia has given Tesfaye hope that things will change.

Learning to farm potatoes has been a positive experience and he wants to share his expertise with other members of his community. He thrives on being able to provide for his family and is hopeful that the skills he has acquired will equip his family to face the changing landscape of farming in Cherkos.
