Alongside the Methodist Church in Britain and the United Reformed Church, we’re raising money for partners whose work on the front lines of the crisis is making a difference to the survival and dignity of those most affected.
We’re working with our partners to support organisations who are helping people most affected. This includes the Department of Service to Palestinian Refugees (DSPR) which is an arm of the Middle East Council of Churches. Refugees are supported through economic and social justice programmes, emergency relief and resource management. DSPR has adopted a holistic, people-centred approach to their emergency relief programme in Gaza.
Our other key partner on the ground is the Jerusalem Princess Basma Centre which provides rehabilitation services to children with disabilities in the Gaza Strip as part of its initiative “Heart to Heart, from Jerusalem to Gaza.”
David Thomson, CEO of All We Can says: “The relaunch and expansion of this emergency appeal, in collaboration with the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church, is part of our commitment to better serve where the need is greatest. Alongside our partners, we call for peace in the region and the respect of humanitarian international law by all. We’re putting our efforts into supporting those who are already responding directly, meeting the urgent humanitarian crisis as it only continues to worsen.”
