We are working with local organisations to find innovative tools to improve the lives of vulnerable communities, as well as helping smallholder farmers maximise their land. Together we are doing all we can for communities living in some of the most remote and hard to reach districts of rural Uganda.
Despite almost halving the national poverty rate in the last 20 years, poverty remains high in Uganda’s rural areas where 87% of the population live. Here, basic services are limited and the majority of people depend on subsistence agriculture to make a living.
