About Us
All We Can is a movement rooted in justice, love, and solidarity. We are striving for a world where every community has the power, dignity, and resources to lead their own future – creating just societies.
Rooted in Methodist values, we seek justice for all – until together, we’ve done all the good we can.

Who we are
All We Can is a movement rooted in justice, love, and solidarity.
We believe that people are best placed to create change in their own communities. That conviction shapes everything we do: shifting power, amplifying local solutions, and working in long-term partnership with changemakers who know their context best.
Our history
Founded by Henry Carter in the 1930s in response to the refugee crisis, we’re a Methodist charity focusing on international development and humanitarian response.
And we’re proud to continue the legacy of responding in times of crisis and making meaningful, positive and sustainable difference to people’s lives.

Our Approach
We challenge broken systems of top-down aid. Instead of imposing solutions, we listen, accompany, and enable. We advocate for funding equity, championing unrestricted resources, and dismantling structures that perpetuate inequality.
Our values
Love
Love is the oxygen of our movement, and enables meaningful relationships and actions.
Collaboration
Collaboration is working together in solidarity and partnership, not control.
Courage
Courage is the strength to confront barriers holding people back and to speak truth to power.
