Disasters can strike at any time, from devastating earthquakes and volcanic eruptions to climate-related shocks and conflict. When they do, every second matters. People need urgent access to shelter, clean water, food, and medicine. But alongside immediate relief, we work with communities to prepare for future crises, reduce disaster risks, and build climate resilience, helping people protect their lives and livelihoods before disaster strikes.
Our Emergency Relief Fund ensures that when crises occur, our partners on the ground can respond immediately. Thanks to our generous supporters, we’ve been able to act quickly in the past, delivering urgent supplies, supporting local communities to recover and rebuild, and investing in disaster risk reduction measures that help communities prepare for future shocks. Through climate resilience initiatives, including community-led preparedness work, we can reduce the impact of disasters should they happen again. But to keep responding and support communities to be resilient against future crises, we need your help.
All We Can’s Emergency Relief Fund enables us to respond to emergencies and disasters whenever it is needed, without delay. As well as providing essential relief items in the days and weeks following a crisis, the fund supports disaster risk reduction and climate resilience work that helps communities anticipate, prepare for and withstand future shocks. We invest in community-led solutions that strengthen local capacity before, during and after emergencies, ensuring people are better equipped to protect lives, livelihoods and futures. When crises do occur, communities are in a much stronger position to respond and recover.
