Self-Help Initiative for Sustainable Development (SHIFSD)

SHIFSD works towards a just society free of illiteracy and poverty, focusing on functional adult literacy and entrepreneurship. Founded in Ghana’s Buduburam Refugee Camp in 2000, it returned to Liberia in 2008 to continue helping others to help themselves through collective initiatives.
