Country Representative - Sierra Leone

Tom Menjor, a Sierra Leonean, joined All We Can and Y-Care International in March 2022. He started his career as a research assistant in environment and social impact assessment consultancy group in Sierra Leone in 2006. He then transitioned to roles of increasing responsibility, starting with the YMCA-SL as a project officer focused on youth livelihoods, governance, and Disaster Risk Reduction. Subsequently, Tom served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for a Slum Upgrading project at the YMCA-SL before joining the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as a regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officer on an institutional strengthening, climate change and biodiversity conservation program, covering the four Mano River Union States. His journey continued as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for Adam Smith International on a water sector institutional strengthening program in Sierra Leone.

Tom holds a BSc Honours Degree in Environmental Sciences with a specialization in Environment and Development from Njala University, Sierra Leone. He pursued further education with an MSc in Environmental Management and Quality Control from the same institution. Additionally, Tom obtained a postgraduate certificate in Evaluation and Applied Research Methods from Claremont Evaluation Center (online), a certificate in Software Engineering from Bluecrest College, Freetown, and a professional certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from Vantage Africa, School of Leadership, Kenya. Recently, he completed a Professional master’s degree in research and public policy (MRPP) from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
